Solution for White Streak on Photos Printed by QSS32 Equipment
Problem Symptom
A white streak appears on photos printed by Noritsu QSS32 equipment. Follow these steps for troubleshooting:
Possible Cause 1: Hair/Dust Under Protective Glass Cover
Inspection Focus:
Debris accumulation in the protective glass coverage area blocks light or imaging.
Solution Steps:
Power off the equipment and wait 5 minutes for components to cool.
Gently wipe the glass cover surface with a lint-free cloth (or lens paper), focusing on edges and corners.
If hair or dust is found, use tweezers to remove it carefully to avoid scratching the glass.
Possible Cause 2: Dust in Pressure Roller Block on Left Side of Laser
Inspection Focus:
Debris enters the module with pressure rollers on the left side of the laser, affecting film transmission or photosensitive performance.
Solution Steps:
Refer to the equipment manual to locate the pressure roller block on the left side of the laser (usually labeled "Laser Unit Left").
Loosen the fixing screws as instructed in the manual, and carefully remove the pressure roller module (do not pull the connecting wires).
Use compressed air to blow out internal debris, remove hair and dust, and wipe the roller surface with an alcohol swab if necessary.
Before reinstalling the module, ensure no debris remains, and reset the components in reverse order.
Notes
Always power off and wear anti-static gloves before operation to prevent electrostatic damage to precision components.
If unfamiliar with the "pressure roller block disassembly" step, scan the QR code below to watch the official maintenance video (internet required).
If the fault persists after multiple cleanings, the laser head or film guide may be worn. Please submit a message for further assistance.
